Mags, Warren, and Belinda are the team behind the Magpie Nest and Dark Arm Valley, and our goal is help you connect with nature. We have 580 acres of this beauty to share with you.
History
Warren found Dark Arm Valley in xyz and built the cabin there himself with the help of new neighbour Andy Edwards. He brought Belinda there and she was immediately fully at home. Mags was terrified on her first trip the valley and took a few years before staying there by herself.
Our Vision
We want everyone to be able to experience the vast internal changes that can come with time at Putty. Slowing down, learning to observe, understanding cycles and relationships, being out in the weather, feeling the earth and the trees and the wind.
Our Mission
One of the most important values that brings us here is preservation and celebration of nature. We have preserved much of Dark Arm Valley so that it will never (ever) be developed, so that it will always be habitat for the brush-tailed rock-wallaby and the brown pomaderis and the other endangered species who call the place home.

Explore two properties, 80 acres of rural land with walking tracks and 500 acres of private bushland.

Actually get yourself into the bush. Touch the grass, the bark, the rock. Follow the creek as it winds around the bend.
